Pollution causes global cooling

Researchers at the University of Manchester say that natural emissions and human-made pollutants can cool the climate. When air is humid enough, particles swell into cloud droplets; and these particles and their size control how bright the cloud appear from top, controlling the efficiency with which clouds scater sunlight back into space, thus cooling the atmosphere.
